Haddu Light grey & Black matt 40.2x40.2

The list of ceramic materials with Cotto texture is extended by Haddu porcelain gres in a convenient format of square tiles 40,2×40,2. The design of the series is based on a combination of closely related terracotta and ethnic motifs. Ait Ben Haddou fortress town located at the base of Southern Atlas Mountains, on the border with Sahar, was the source of inspiration for this series. Its fortified mudbrick houses with flat roofs — kasbahs — are climbing up the hill forming a unique silhouette, one of the bright examples of Moroccan architecture. The town is especially beautiful at sunset, when the walls reflect the sun rays playing with deep colours of ochre and terracotta. The Haddu colour palette, along with red ochre, brown and dark grey includes neutral light colours, which are suitable for the majority of interiors. Square tiles with delicate ornamental patterns, barely visible on the texture of burnt clay are available in each colour, elevating the value of decoration.
